ReflectiveAir has been one of our best selling shipping systems consistently since we launched it back in 2017. At the time it was revolutionary to the shipping sector and today it still outperforms many rival products!
The ReflectiveAir system works by using either single or double bubble foil layers, made into a liner with a hot melt closure strip. This liner is both waterproof and leak-resistant which works to reduce box damage, and can be wiped clean for reuse. ReflectiveAir does not have the same eco-credentials as other systems in our range, but is extremely effective for shipping both frozen or chilled food items when used alongside the right combination of ice packs.
We have tested the ReflectiveAir system extensively over different time frames with different combinations of ice packs and products. Our tests consistently show that ReflectiveAir can meet the needs of shipping up to 28ltrs worth of products (Box 6).
Polystyrene boxes have long been used in the frozen shipping sector as they offer extremely effective temperature controlled protection. Like ReflectiveAir, they do not have many eco-benefits but they do work extremely well for their intended purpose.
Our Polyboxes are watertight, they are certified food safe, leakproof and they offer excellent thermal protection. We offer both Standard and Polyplus options, in a huge range of sizes from 1.5kg to 25kg. We offer small minimum order quantities on these items and as they are manufactured in the UK, quick lead times.
It is possible to add drainage holes to these, please let us know when you order. They can also be printed in different colours for a MOQ of 1000 boxes.
The systems above; ClimaCell, ReflectiveAir and Polystyrene boxes, also offer chilled shipping product options. In addition, we have the following systems suitable for shipping chilled items:
EnviroCool is one of the flagship products in our eco-friendly range of shipping systems. It is biodegradable, compostable, recyclable and made from recycled materials, so it ticks many green boxes.
The data for EnviroCool’s testing shows that it consistently performs when shipping chilled products (dependent on ice pack selection).
EnviroCool comes in a number of sizes and is available as either just a liner or with a box too.
Recycle-Air again boasts a range of eco credentials, primarily the fact it is made from recyclable materials including an LDPE liner (RESY 4). It has double bubble cushioning layers, it is waterproof and it has a leak resistant bottom which protects against box damage. As standard, it comes with a double strength biodegradable box.
Recycle-Air is a pre-gusseted liner system which means there is no assembly required and we can fit up to 700 liners on a pallet, so it’s extremely compact for storage.
Recycle-Air maintains the chilled cold chain for a minimum of 24 hours, although our testing does show it lasts longer than this depending on ice pack selection.
Our thermal postal pockets are well suited to shipping small chilled food items as they are constructed from multi-layered LDPE which is recyclable and lightweight. They are extremely strong and very durable, with enhanced cushioning properties and a completely sealed insulated chamber.
The insulation inside these pockets is wound rather than a thick single piece; this is scientifically proven to provide superior thermal protection. They are sealed with an anti-tamper strip for security.
Our insulated cool bags are totally recyclable and made of food grade materials with an antibacterial coating. They are a short term solution for moving chilled food items from one place to another whilst maintaining the cold shipping chain, up to a few hours, so perfect for offering to customers buying chilled food items to take home.
They are available in a range of 6 capacity options, with and without gussets.
