Hydropac are now a member of Sedex, the world’s largest collaborative platform for buyers, suppliers and auditors to store, share and report on information quickly and easily. Sedex is a global non-profit membership organisation which is used by more than 50,000 members in over 150 countries. It is designed to help members manage performance around health and safety, business ethics, the environment and labour rights.
Hydropac offers every customer a customized solution for chilled and conditioned shipping. For example, we help a customer with limited freezing capacity to deliver gel packs frozen and ready to use, and we can manufacture almost all shapes and sizes of cooling elements. It is not a standard setting body (and as such does not approve or certify our policies and standards), but rather enables members to drive continuous improvement across their value chains, by sharing data, standards and certifications to help members make informed business decisions. Membership is a great step forward for Hydropac, as this further supports our willingness to share information and to use this information to help manage and improve ethical standards within the supply chain.
