We try to keep our shipping costs to a minimum; however there will always be a charged associated with delivering the items ordered. Hydropac do not operate any delivery vehicles of our own, so all orders are despatched using the most cost effective option available to us at the time. If you would prefer to use your own courier, please contact our sales office on 01494 530 182 to make the arrangements.
Smaller orders will be delivered by parcel carrier were possible, although please be aware that a single box of our ice packs will still weigh over 20kg. Larger orders will be despatched as either half or full pallets through a local pallet delivery company and will need to be signed for upon receipt.
Please also be aware, we operate out of multiple factories, in trying to provide the cheapest possible delivery option, we may ultimately deliver some orders by a combination of parcels or parcels and pallets, despite a specific delivery option having been chosen. This is the best way to keep our delivery costs down without passing on to our customers, but rest assured the service will never suffer as a result.
If the delivery address has restricted access or limitations for delivery vehicles it is your responsibility to inform us at the time of placing your order. Deliveries will be made to the address supplied in a suitably sized vehicle between the hours 9am and 5pm. Similarly, if your order is heavy/bulky and you require a tail lift on the delivery vehicle as you do not have use of a forklift truck, please inform us at the time of ordering. Arrangements can be made to deliver your items on certain types of vehicles which we will do our best accommodate – as long as they are done in advance. If the delivery vehicle arrives and is unable to access the site, either due to size restrictions or because the address is closed, or is unable to unload as a tail lift / forklift is not available, this will be classified as a failed delivery and there will be an additional carriage charge.
